Not too long ago, our MADLY Instagram family skyrocketed to an impressive 50,000 followers, a feat few Singapore jewellers have managed to achieve. Since our jewels are known to mark milestones, we wanted to celebrate this momentous occasion with everyone who made it possible by hosting a guessing game! And boy, did we have a showstopper for our lucky winner — a breathtaking over 5-carat Tourmaline!
On June 17th, we hosted an intimate afternoon affair in our cosy showroom. Our fabulous clients were treated to a scrumptious spread of canapés, tarts and pastries from Le Cordon Bleu trained Patissier Woo, paired with free-flow Rosé Frizant. It was a true feast for the senses!
We also took the chance to unveil a fresh drop of the most gorgeous Sapphires from a recent sourcing trip to Sri Lanka. Trust us when we say you have to come down to see them in person!!
Now for the moment of truth: the winner of our guessing game! The task was to guess the number of roughs inside our infamous little jar and whoever came closest would claim our luscious green gem!
Interestingly enough, many guesses hovered around the 300-500 mark but there were actually 1153 gem roughs crammed into our jar! Szabina’s guess of 1000 clinched the prize, much to everyone else’s disappointment!
We can’t wait to see how she designs her new MADLY masterpiece. The possibilities are, after all, endless!
Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your handlebars because the MADLY Mobile also made its grand debut at the party, albeit somewhat disguised… Keep your eyes peeled — you’ll be seeing a lot more of it in the near future!
