Spinel is surely the ‘Cinderella’ of coloured gems – understated next to her sisters but stunningly beautiful. Of all the colours Spinel occurs naturally in, ‘Cobalt Blue’ is by far the most rare, and for a long time, they were really only found in Vietnam but MADLY is proud to be part of the 2021 discovery of Cobalt Spinel in Tanzania.
